Chrysler Has Best Sales for 2013 Since Bailout

2009 was a dark year for Chrysler company. Things were bleak and it was looking like one of the biggest American auto manufacturers was about to go under. Declaring bankruptcy seemed like the end until the government stepped in and get the auto maker alive by providing a much needed bailout. While controversial for the time, and still is to others, the bailout did provide Chrysler the time it needed to turn things around. In just a few short years, Chrysler had managed to increase their sales and is looking a lot better than those darker times. In fact, 2013 was the strongest year for Chrysler sales since the bailout.

Chrysler thanked the strong US sales of their Ram pickups and Jeep Grand Cherokee for the added boost. Both vehicles have been met with much popularity and in particular the Ram 1500, which was recently named the 'Truck of Texas.' While it's too soon to tell, the newly revamped and re released Jeep Cherokee also provided much help as drivers have taken a strong liking to the new design and reliability found only in Jeep products.
