November Chrysler Sales Beats Estimates

The month of November was a good month for Chrysler. The sales for the month, with a volume total of 107,72 cars and trucks, was the best year over year sales gain in 2011. With retail sales going up by 51 percent, November was the sixth consecutive month that had sales gains of at least 20 percent. Chrysler Group found themselves managing to outdo the average industry sales in 10 months of the year. The company saw their sales go up by 45 percent which was much better than the analyst were predicting.

The car that stood out among the sales figures was the Chrysler 300 full size and 200 mid size. The Chrysler 300 have a 215 percent sales increase and the 200 was ahead of last year's Sebring by 496 percent! Other major names that also saw excellent sales numbers were the Dodge Avenger, Durango, and the Charger. The brand itself had an increase of 43 percent from last November. On the Jeep side, sales were up 50 percent, bringing in the brand's best November sales since 2003 and the 19th consecutive month of year over year sales gains. The Jeep Compass and Grand Cherokee were the major winners for that brand. The Wrangler also set a record in the month with sales up 41 percent for its sixth consecutive monthly record this year.

This is fantastic news for Chrysler. It is such a strong show for the month and really shows that car sales are starting to turn around. With so many fantastic vehicles to choose from, all from notably and reliable brands, it isn't hard to see why so many consumers are sticking to Chrysler and all the brands.
